  1. 1.3.13FixLatest

    Bug fixes and improvements

    • Bug fixes and improvements
  2. 1.3.12New

Help and the changelog move to altbridge.app

    • Report a Problem now goes to support@altbridge.app
    • The Changelog button in Settings › About, and the note after an update, open altbridge.app/changelog
  3. 1.3.11New

Everything in the menu-bar panel, keyboard included

    • The menu-bar panel now has everything in one place, Report a Problem included, with a status line that turns orange or red when something needs a look
    • Use the panel from the keyboard: ↑ and ↓ to move, Return to choose, Esc to close, plus ⌘, ⌘L and ⌘Q
    • ⌥-click the menu-bar icon to open Settings
    • Settings: a new Menu Bar page, a tidier About page (the welcome guide is now in Troubleshooting), and lighter cards
    • PowerPoint and Word share one "coming soon" row with their own icon
    • The Licence page and window show shorter Mac names, and removing a Mac when your key is full activates it straight away
  4. 1.3.10Design

Settings fits every page, no scrolling

    • Settings is one steady size that fits every page, so there's nothing to scroll
    • What's New has moved online: Settings › About › Changelog opens every version's changes, and so does the note after an update
  5. 1.3.9Design

Frosted glass and smoother scrolling in Settings

    • Settings: pages and the sidebar now scroll under frosted glass at the top, instead of sliding under the window buttons and page title
    • Smoother scrolling in Settings, and short pages no longer bounce
  6. 1.3.8New

A Licence page, and a menu-bar icon that does what you choose

    • A new Licence page in Settings: who AltBridge is licensed to, and the Macs your key is used on
    • A licence key works on 2 Macs. Remove a Mac you no longer use right from the list, or deactivate this one to free its place
    • Choose what clicking the menu-bar icon does: show the panel, or turn the shortcuts on and off. A right-click does the other one, and ⌥-click opens the full menu
    • Turning the shortcuts on or off from the icon gives a small tap on the trackpad and a note under the icon, and the icon fades while they're off
  7. 1.3.7Design

A new icon: cars crossing the Alt and ⌥ bridge

    • A new icon: cars crossing a bridge that stands on the Alt and ⌥ keys, with a simpler version for small sizes
    • The cars drive across the logo in the menu-bar panel, Settings › About and the welcome window
    • A new menu-bar icon to match: its keys fill while you type a sequence in Excel, and a little car crosses when the shortcut runs
  8. 1.3.6Faster

    Lighter on Excel, tidier notices

    • Notices fit their whole message and sit just above the sheet tabs of the Excel window you're using, wherever it is
    • Settings no longer shifts sideways when you open Learning Hints
    • Lighter on Excel: clicking in your sheet no longer makes AltBridge ask Excel anything (learning hints only look at ribbon and menu clicks)
  9. 1.3.5Fix

Still hears your keys after hours of sleep or lock

    • AltBridge keeps hearing your keys after your Mac has sat idle, slept or locked for hours: it no longer naps, and it restarts its keyboard listener after wake and unlock
    • If macOS Secure Input is hiding your keys (often left on after unlocking), AltBridge now says so and how to clear it
  10. 1.3.4Fix

Works over Excel in full screen and Stage Manager

    • Key tips, learning hints and notices now show over Excel in full screen, also with Stage Manager and two displays
  11. 1.3.3Fix

Tips land on the workbook you're using, with many windows

    • Key tips always appear on the workbook you're working in, even with several Excel windows, two screens or one in full screen
    • What's New: every version's changes in Settings, and a note after each update with a See What's New button
  12. 1.3.2Fix

    No keychain prompts after updating

    • No more keychain password prompts about "app.altbridge.trial" after updating
  13. 1.3.1Fix

Key tips show on every display

    • Key tips now show on every screen: with more than one display, the badges were drawn on the wrong screen and stayed invisible
  14. 1.3New

Report a Problem goes straight to support

    • Report a Problem now goes to altbridge.support@gmail.com
    • Anonymous usage counts (a random ID, the version, trial or licensed), with an off switch in Settings › About
  15. 1.2New

A 30-day free trial, no key needed

    • A 30-day free trial: AltBridge works straight away, then asks for a licence key
    • Report a Problem now goes straight to the developer's email
  16. 1.1.1New

    Lifetime licences

    • Lifetime licences: keys that never end show as "Lifetime" in Settings › About
    • The read-me in the download now covers entering your licence key
  17. 1.1New

Licence keys, shown in the menu-bar panel

    • Licence keys: AltBridge asks for the key from your invite, and beta keys show how many days are left
    • Your licence is in the menu-bar panel and in Settings › About
    • A gentle reminder in a beta's last week
    • If a shortcut needs a key, AltBridge says so where you pressed it, with an Enter Key button
  18. 1.0.1Fix

    ⌥ H V V and ⌥ H B A work every time

    • ⌥ H V V (paste values) works again
    • ⌥ H B A (all borders) and other menu shortcuts no longer report success when nothing happened
    • Shortcuts that open a menu find it straight away, without a one-second pause
    • If a menu step fails, AltBridge's backup route now runs properly
  19. 1.0New

Windows Alt sequences and key tips on your Mac

    • AltBridge 1.0: the first official release
    • Windows Excel Alt key sequences and key tips, on your Mac
    • Updates arrive by themselves, signed and checked before they install
    • Report a Problem: send what happened, with your versions and (if you choose) the activity log
    • Learning hints show next to Excel's Share button and teach items inside ribbon menus
